For my Design and Technology major work, I have designed and created a line of ‘Eco Couture’ (haute couture composed entirely of recycled materials).
While they aren’t really for every-day use or wear, the dresses and skirt serve a purpose! I created the line aiming to promote the reduction of obsolescence in the retail industry and in homes. The garments and an accompanying brochure took a full year to design and construct, however I believe it was worthwhile as I filled my brief.
